Experiencing the Lady Mayor Show

This term, we had a remarkable opportunity where our pupils got to attended the Lady Mayor Show.

The visit was made possible through the generosity and ongoing support of our partner, The Drapers Company, who once again provided our children with an experience they will never forget.

The excitement began as our pupils were guided to an excellent viewing point along the parade route. From this prime position, they were able to take in the full spectacle of the procession, with its vibrant floats, marching bands and impressive displays.

The atmosphere was filled with energy, and the children were completely absorbed in the festivities surrounding one of London’s oldest and most celebrated public events.

Following the parade, the group were invited into the amazing Drapers Hall for a special lunch. The magnificent setting left a lasting impression on our pupils, many of whom were amazed by the beautiful architecture.

The Drapers Company, then treated the children to an entertaining magic show that sparked laughter and excitement throughout the room.

The day offered our pupils a rare and enriching experience that broadened their horizons and created memories that will stay with them long into their future.

We are incredibly grateful to The Drapers Company for their kindness, generosity and continued commitment to supporting the children across our trust. They remain extraordinary hosts and invaluable partners.

This trip heavily reflect one of our school values Growth. By exposing pupils to new cultural celebrations, historic venues and shared experiences beyond the classroom, we help them build confidence, develop new perspectives and grow into curious, ambitious young learners.

Experiences like these encourage them to see the wider world and imagine new possibilities for their future.
